Titanium Sheet | Plate                                               Titanium alloys are 40 percent lighter than Steel and 60 percent heavier than aluminum. The combination of moderate weight and high strength gives Titanium alloys the highest strength to weight ratios of any structural metal.   The most commonly used alloy is 6AL-4V, which combines titanium with 6% aluminum and 4% vandium for excellent overall characteristics "ELI" designates a higher purity version than the standard 6AL-4V alloy and can be used in surgical implants, and other applications where higher tolerances are required.
