Online Metal Supply started selling metals in 2001 under the name "Low Cost Metals" and at on the website of lowcostmetals.com. This was run out of the basement of the founder's (Steve Pierce) house. In 2003 he built a 1500 square foot building as the business grew. In 2005 they added another 1500 square foot to the building. In 2011 they moved to a new 7200 square foot building on a property they purchased across the highway from his residence. In 2019 they moved again into a 30,000 square foot building they purchased in the City of Houston, Missouri Industrial Park.

We've been selling metals over the internet since 2001. We are based in Houston, Missouri.
We buy large quantities of all types of materials, bring them into our warehouse for processing, which includes cutting, shearing and sawing to specific sizes, inspecting, cleaning and packaging of the material for shipment. We then ship the materials to warehouses across the USA for quick delivery to your location.
We only sell the materials that we currently have processed and are ready for shipment.
