6061-T6 Aluminum is a versatile alloy known for its wide range of
properties to include good strength, corrosion resistance, and machining
properties. It is easily formed and welded. It is used in various structural and
engineered applications.
6061 Aluminum Plate has a mill finish. (as produced, no special finishing
has been added)
This plate is new but does not have a protective covering on
the finish, therefore it may contain minor scuffs from handling, shearing, or
sawing operations and may not be suitable for purely cosmetic applications
without further surface preparation.
